How soon will my order be sent and how long will it take to arrive?
We aim to send all orders within 1-3 business days after your order is placed and you will receive an email confirmation as soon as your item has been shipped. Please allow up to 5 business days for West Malaysia and 7 business days for East Malaysia for your order to arrive from the time of shipping.
What is your return/exchange policy?
We will happily exchange your product if you’re not 100% happy with it providing it is unused, undamaged, in original condition and you contact us within 7 days of your order being received. We only offer refunds if your product is damaged or faulty, you will need to email a photo of the damage to www.cahayacandles.com.

What if my candle arrives damaged?
If your candle arrives damaged you will need to email us at hello@cahayacandles.com within 7 days of receiving your order. Please attach a clear photo showing the damage so we can assess it.
Refund Policies?
Cancellation and change of mind orders will only be refunded in store credit.
Why are your shipping rates calculated by weight?
Our candles are housed in bespoke ceramic jars which are quite heavy. As such, we take full measures when packaging your candles to ensure they arrive safely.
Why are there surface imperfections or colour variations in my candle?
Surface imperfections will not affect the performance of the candle and the surface should smooth out after the first burn (do burn till the wax liquefies to the very edge of the container to avoid tunnelling).
Colour variations are often due to the ingredients used in our fragrance blends. Citrus notes can often tinge wax slightly yellow and vanilla notes can tinge wax orange in parts. Again this does not affect the performance of your candle.

Are your candles formulated using safe ingredients?
All our candles are formulated using natural soy wax which is non-toxic, vegan and cruelty free. We use plant based fragrance oils that are free from phthalates and never use synthetic dyes. Pregnant mothers are advised to use their own discretion.
Are your products vegan?
Soy wax is a great vegan alternative and cruelty free.
Are your products halal/contain alcohol?
All our candles are made from natural soy wax and blend of plant based fragrance oil. No alcohol or alcoholic beverage is used in the crafting of our candles. Our products do not carry a halal certification.
Where do you source your materials from?
Our materials are sourced from global suppliers in order to deliver the high standard and performance our candles have always been known for.
What is the shelf-life of the candles?
Candles have a shelf life of typically 12 months. Keep the candles away from direct sunlight and store at room/cool temperature to prolong the shelf-life.
Are you on any other platform such as Shopee and Lazada?
At present, we are not.
Do you do sponsorships/sponsor candles for an event
As we are a small company, we are unable to donate large amounts of candles for events. If you would like to purchase our candles at bulk prices, please drop us an email at hello@cahayacandles.com
